I’m on phone with this financial advisor from New York who was recommended to me by a friend from Chicago for some advice on investing in binary options.

“My name is Ephrem Kamanzi, I’m calling from Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa. I was given your contacts by Clint one of your clients. I want to venture into binary options and I need an expert to guide me.”

He explains to me how their services work, how great they are and how if I decide to work with them my future will brighten up. Then I ask him, “By the way, do you have any other clients in Kenya?”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah… I have a very good client in Port Harcourt”, he replies. I choked my laughter. Port Harcourt is in Nigeria… Nearly 5000 km away from Nairobi on the Western coast of the continent.

One thing that this conversation shows is that many people who live outside Africa know very little about it. And sadly enough, quite often the idea they have of it, is that of a continent of war, famine, corruption and disease, of which to be honest it has had its fair share.

There’s another Africa, however, which is emerging, a thriving fastest growing economy that should arouse the keen interest of any entrepreneur who dreams of going global. A real paradigm shift is taking place. As Shakira sang at the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in South Africa, “This Time for Africa”.

Today, the world has become a global village. And Africa is not what you may think it is. The following video says it more eloquently.

Now, for business-oriented minds, there’s a business you can easily do to tap the phenomenal economic growth of Africa, from wherever you live in the world. Without even having to travel to Africa if you choose not to. Discover THE business!
